The Double Seven is New York's most stylish cocktail lounge. Initially opened in 2005, the The Double Seven was the first venue to bring the post-Prohibition era cocktail movement, complete with hand-cut ice and freshly-pressed juices, to the downtown fashion scene. At the height of it's popularity in 2007, The Double Seven was forced to close and search for a new location when the building in which it resided was sold.

Now reborn only blocks away, The Double Seven is a slightly larger and more accessible space that retains the intimacy of its predecessor and the same commitment to the highest quality of service, product and design.

The Double Seven is the ideal spot for those thirsty for one more cocktail and some good conversation after a night out for dinner, or for those who are looking for a fun and upbeat night on the town, but seek a more manageable and grown-up nightlife experience.

The Cocktails

The cocktail program has once again been engineered by the legendary Sasha Petraske of Milk and Honey fame; each specialty cocktail is paired with the finest chocolate from DeBauve & Gallais.

The Music

The atmosphere, musical selection and volume are geared for conversation and socialization during the post-dinner hours, and later at night, the vibe gently segues into a more upbeat mode. DJs are carefully curated and monitored to offer "head-bopping" music during the early hours; and even as its pace intensifies well after midnight, our DJs never play music that is being heard in every other venue in New York.
